Josh Freese’s career is unknown to most, but he has become one of the most sought after session stickman in the biz. His credits include over 250 albums from just about every popular band/singer from the past 15 years. He was Nine Inch Nails‘ drummer for the past three years.
His new solo album, Since 1972 will be available via digital downloads starting March 24 exclusively at Freese’s site, for $7. The $15 CD/DVD combo will arrive in stores April 14.
Personally, I’d believe the the $7 through maybe the $250 packages. After that, things get a little weird.

As previously mentioned, the reunion tour with NiN has been confirmed and Jane’s Addiction is re-releasing 2 of their classic albums (1988’s Nothing’s Shocking and 1990’s Ritual De Lo Habitual) in 180-gram vinyl form. Furthermore, the band has also assembled a huge three-CD collection of live performances, unreleased tracks, demos, and more. The collection will be offered in a limited edition wooden cabinet with recreations of ticket stubs, a set list and concert flyers.
The Presidents of the United States of America just released an 
Pearl Jam’s re-released album, “Ten”, will include a redemption code in the CD booklet that will allow fans to download three previously recorded tracks for the “Rock Band” video game. The free songs include “Brother,” “Alive,” and “State of Love & Trust.” All three songs will also be available for purchase from the “Rock Band” downloadable store, along with the entire “Ten” album in March.
