Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails Say Goodbye

Nine Inch NailsIn a news release from the official NiN site, Trent announced that maybe it’s time to “make Nine Inch Nails disappear for a while.” Trent goes on to suggest that there may be an upcoming tour with NiN and Jane’s Addition in the near future. Here is what Trent has to say on the matter.

I reached out to Jane’s to see if they’d want to join us across the US and we all felt it could be a great thing. Will it work? Will it resonate in the marketplace? Who knows. Are there big record label marketing dollars to convince you to attend? Nope.

Their post already has over 2200 comments. Head on over to their site to read the entire post and check out some of the comments. Hate to see NiN go, but hopefully it will only be for a short time. In the mean time, sounds like this farewell tour with Jane’s Addition will kick ass. When/if this tour comes to fruition, be sure we will detail all the information here on 90’s Rockers.

This is video footage of Nirvana playing “Jesus Doesn’t Want Me For A Sunbeam,” “Aneurysm,” and “D-7″ at the City Gardens in Trenton, N.J., 1991.

Pretty cool if you ask me.
