They have another album...

Shapeshifter is the second major release of Marcy Playground. It was released on November 2, 1999.

The artwork for this release was originally to be used on the unreleased Butthole Surfers album After the Astronaut. Because of complications, the album was not released, and Marcy Playground found the artwork (by Mark Ryden) and used it for Shapeshifter.

And another album...

MP3 is the third major release by the band Marcy Playground. It was released on March 23, 2004.

The album was much anticipated by Marcy Playground fans through a five-year wait after their 1999 album Shapeshifter. The band's long awaited return came in early 2004 with MP3, possibly meant as a double-entendre for the 3rd major release by a band whose abbreviated name could be "mp" and the uprise of MP3 players at the time the album was released.

To the dismay of many fans the album had no tour to support it and the album lacked any dominant singles, no singles entering any charts known of. The music in the album shows to be less grungey than their previous albums Shapeshifter and their self titled album, the latter spawning their one hit single Sex and Candy.

The album had three singles released, "Punk Rock Superstar", "Blood in Alphabet Soup" and "Deadly Handsome Man" which did not enjoy much mainstream success. The album was considered a flop by many people including All Music Guide.

The album reached #111 on the Billboard 200.

Track Listing
---------------------------------

1. "Spoonfed"
2. "Blood in Alphabet Soup"
3. "No One's Boy"
4. "Hotter Than the Sun"
5. "Rock and Roll Heroes"
6. "Jesse Went to War"
7. "Flag and Finger"
8. "Deadly Handsome Man"
9. "Punk Rock Superstar"
10. "Paper Dolls"
11. "Death of a Cheerleader"

13. "Sleepy Eyes"
14. "Barfly"
15. "These Shoes"*
